I designed this logo for a traditional wood furniture manufacturer in Mexico. The name “Pirocefalus” came for a local desert bird which means “head of fire.” They use traditional skills to create their pieces using only solid quality woods and in some cases fire to give particular finishes. For this reason, the logo needed to be super simple and also made a subtle reference to a flame at the top of the birds head.
